How they got name: Bulldogs owe their name to the fact that they were once used to guard, control and bait bulls. According to wikipedia - Bulldog, generally known as the English Bulldog or British Bulldog, is a medium-size breed of dog that originated in England.

Care tips for Bulldog:


1)He needs lots of love and cuddling, lots of rest and sleep, lots of good, nourishing food and more love and cuddling. Because it is member of your house.
2)Some facts:  These dogs are very convivial, sweet and amicable, and they do not exhibit aggression toward strangers or guests.
3)When bringing a puppy home, try to change its life as little as possible. Dont force him to act against his will.
They are very good with children, elderly people, and other pets in the house, although males can be wary of other males.
4)These dogs love company and interaction, and lack of those may lead to destructive behavior.
5)For betterment of their bones and jaws please supply them toys, because these dogs love to exercise power of their jaws. A puppy should have its personal place for a bed and a meal and several toys to play with.
6)Their coat is smooth and glossy, and it does not require complicated grooming.
7)More special Bulldog care tips can be obtained from a rescue when you adopt a dog.
8)These pets are  prone to health issues. Breathing issues can be prevalent in the breed due to the shape of the lower jaw and the shortness of muzzle - bulldogs are known to snore
9) Follow the feeding and sleeping schedule that it?s used to. Do not use plastic either for his food or his water.
10)Any reliable breeder can give you recommendations on feeding, training and exercising the pup.
11)Take care of bones and joints of a puppy are not strong enough compared to its growing body.
